I am very happy of being back in Europe, even if only for a few days. My next bookings are taking place between Spain and Germany. I left all my shirts, bikinis and shorts in Miami and got ready for the cold. And Xmas! Decorations are almost ready everywhere. Love it.
At least I had some winter clothes with me from my last minute shopping in Liverpool. Remember one of my last adventures right? Luggage lost in Germany…1 month around the world with NOTHING…Ecco. #idbetternotthinkaboutit
My travel time all together was veeeery long. I had a connecting flight in Dusseldorf, for which I had to wait more than 3 hours in the airport in Germany…and this after a 10hr flight from US without closing eyes. You know, we took off in the afternoon… I was more awake than the pilot. Well, I hope not. Actually, judging the ‘soft’ landing…kksnckdfjdkndkancks
We landed on time in Germany: 6:50am. Around that time, you can find 2 animal species in the airport, especially if international: the ‘Boss’ ones, perfectly shaved or maked up, full of energy and ready to face the impossible, and the ‘Zombies’ ones, like me, with one eye open to check the status of the flight, and the other closed, dreaming of a bed and a blanket, and drinking all kind of vitamins (C,B, ginger, Zinc, E…ADfQMXKPPPPOLKHITFGH) to help your body stand up Lol.
At least I was not flying alone this time. Giulio flew with me from US. I couldn’t be more proud of him. He slept almost all the time during the flight, without complaining, and was incredibly friendly with everybody, crew included. Actually, he was even allowed to sit on the seat (in his bag)…Minister Giulio.
After landing I only had the time for a coffee (SOS) and for packing again. My next team was already in Barcelona, ready to leave for our next job. We shot our campaign between Sitges and Garraf, on the coast, less than 1 hr by car from Barcelona. Very early wake-up calls, outside location, strong wind. Absolutely freezing, but absolutely gorgeous. I had almost forgotten how beautiful during beaches are during Winter. I had a wonderful time there, with one of the nicest team ever, taking care of me and the other model 24hr on 24. Thermacare band for the back to struggle the cold included! They spoil us sometimes…;-)
I am still a little bit jetlagged, I arrived only 4 days ago, but everyday is getting better. Tomorrow I am flying to Germany for my next campaign, and from there back to US. No time to recover…that you already have to fly back again. God bless vitamins.
