Hello world,
If you follow me on Twitter –subliminal message- you will already know that the first weeks of the New Year have been quite busy for me.
Immediately after Christmas Holidays I worked in Madrid for a very important Spanish client and after that I flew to Denmark to shoot the Spring/Summer collection of a Danish fashion brand. It is always a pleasure for me to visit northern Europe, everything there is so quiet and relaxed, and to my surprise it wasn’t that cold. I arrived there dressed as the typical tourist – I guess that if someone would have taken a picture of me after landing we would have laughed a lot, including me – with 5 layers of sweaters underneath my jacket +scarf+gloves+cap. It turned out to be absolutely unnecessary. In Barcelona I had left a worse weather actually!
After Denmark was again time for Madrid and finally Milan, where for this time I didn’t fly for work, but for renewing my expired driving license. Yes. Had to fly there only for that. To read 5 huge letters on the board. FYI, I had my driving license approved. So be careful, there is a blonde more driving on the street. OMG!!
To tell you the truth, you can go out with no fear, because I will be driving on the other part of the ocean! The beginning of the New Year is going to bring me to the USA. I will be based in Florida for some weeks and will work on different confirmed productions there. I am very excited about my American experience and I will keep you updated about my life there.
The new year has also just brought me another surprise. Our winter editorial shot some weeks ago in Madrid has been published! You can find it in the Spanish magazine AR of February. I hope you like the pictures, I really do, even more when I think about how hard had turned out to keep the beautiful male model of the day –a wonderful Siberian Husky… if only my baby Giulio knew he had a competitor on that day!! 🙂 🙂 – still and looking into the camera. Everything had to be well coordinated, its pose, mine, our expressions, the snow ‘magically’ falling from above, the wind, the clothes and styling had to be in order, etc. Would you imagine that? I find all this so fascinating!
All the team did a great job and these pictures are the results of the efforts of all: Patricia Gallego (photographer) and her assistants, Alvaro Fernandez (producer and styling) and Paula Soroa (Make-up and hair). Congratulations to all ragazzi!
So…Which shot do you like best?
Thank you for being there and for being so great.
Love you all.
