Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way!

Hello world,

Santa Claus is about to go down our chimneys. Already!? Oh my god, I’m so late this year!! I still haven’t bought a present and even worse, I haven’t decorate anything, neither the house, nor the tree. This had never happened before. I’m the worst! I need to speed up. Anyway, I still have some days before the 25th. And listen…everybody knows that people use to buy presents on the 24th come on!! I won’t be the only one. I’m sure.

The thing is that I didn’t realize that Christmas was approaching. As a matter of fact I bought my tickets to Milan only last week. It has been very difficult to find a free seat on the plane, especially for Giulio, for a 1.5 kg dog, can you believe that?!?!! No way!!! Flight regulations say that there cannot be more than 2 pets on the same plane. That’s why. In addition to this, you need to buy its special ticket (sometimes more expansive than ours, that’s ridiculous) and you can’t choose your seat. The 2 pets cannot be close on the plane. Giulio can forget the emergency exit ahahaha. Anyway, I should have booked them earlier. Lesson learnt!!

I’m looking forward to arriving at the airport. All my family will be there to pick me up. Every time is the same story: I arrive there, everybody laughs, kisses here, hugs there, shouts everywhere (typical Italian meeting)…and yes!! After telling you that you lost weight because you probably didn’t eat enough since the last time you left Milan, Mum starts to cry for joy. No daii, can you believe that?!? I always tell her: ‘Mum, if you cry NOW, that I arrive, what are you going to do when I leave?!?’ She’s soooo typically Italian. I love her. She has just called me to tell me she has already decided starters, main course, desserts and anything concerning our Christimas Menu. I can’t negotiate anything. If I think about all the food that will be on the table…OMG. I feel sick already.

I still don’t know where I’ll celebrate New Year’s Eve. 2011 has been a quite good year for me: health, love, new experiences, new professional projects, new friends, new trips, and Giulio’s arrival!! Let’s hope that this good trend will last all along 2012 🙂 .

My dear friends…I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Health, love and money for all.

Never give up fighting for your dreams, for what you want and for whom you love.

Renata
